Maintenance varies by platform. A Shopify store needs different attention from a separately hosted website, so the plan should reflect the actual setup. We can coordinate content updates, investigate issues and handle agreed technical work, with suitable checks after changes. Monitoring, backup arrangements and software updates are included where relevant to the platform and scope.

Your plan can include more than website upkeep. These are selected services, rather than an unlimited bundle. We use available feedback and measurement to decide where the next piece of work is most useful.

Can you manage a website you did not build?+
Yes, subject to a review of the platform, access and current condition. We identify any limitations before agreeing a plan. Some sites benefit from an initial repair or improvement project before moving into routine monthly support.
Does website maintenance include hosting?+
Your quote states what is included. Shopify hosting is part of your Shopify subscription. Other websites may need a separate hosting provider, which we can help coordinate. Domain renewals, paid apps, advertising spend and third-party subscriptions are identified separately.
How are new requests and urgent issues handled?+
We agree a communication process, priorities and monthly capacity when setting up the partnership. New requests are assessed against that plan. Urgent issues and larger tasks may need reprioritization or a separate quote; response arrangements are defined in your scope.
